You may have your own opinion about how important money is, but I think it is the tool that can solve 99% of your problems. The remaining 1% of problems are faced by all: the rich, the poor, and the middle class.
If you think deeply, you will find that most of your stress, anxiety, and insecurities are caused by a lack of money.
Once I had a short conversation with my friend:
I said Money is not everything.
He laughed and replied, ” Yes, I also used to think the same, but when I started to earn money, at least I can purchase something to relieve my stress. Nowadays, I can travel wherever I want, eat whatever I want, and help needy people; it gives me peace.
When I had no good job and empty pockets, I had problems. After getting my bank account full, I still feel I have the same issues and additional. But I can solve my problem smoothly. At least I can hide them, at least I can replace them.
He continued, ” You are saying money is not everything, as if you are Elon Musk. First earn it, bro, then experience whether it is everything or not.
You are saying money is not everything? It means; either you are broke, or you are unable to utilize it properly.
His reply made me speechless, I smiled internally. He was right. His experience was genuine.
Lack of money causes stress in daily life: Harsh Truth.
You wake up early in the morning, brush your teeth. While brushing, you realized that the brush and Colgate didn’t come to you for free. You paid money to purchase them.
If your early morning starts with spending, then think about your whole life.
You can purchase everything with money, except for some non-materialistic things.
Even you can buy time;
How?
Suppose you have to do two tasks at the same time, both are urgent and compulsory. You don’t have sufficient time to complete it.
In this case, if you have money, you can hire someone to complete that task so that you can focus on another.
Father is upset with son, and son is upset with father because they didn’t earn enough for each other.
Your partner quarrels with you because you are unable to fulfill their demand.
Your friend judges your identity because you don’t have enough money to give them a good time.
You miss opportunities because you don’t have the resources to invest.
You sacrifice your hobbies and interests because you don’t have the money to join classes.
Imagine yourself, you are living in a rented house, and the landlord tortures you day and night for rent, but you have no money to pay.
Imagine that you have to depend on others and do their salavry for a lifetime to fulfill your basic needs. You are being controlled by them.
Again, imagine you have to leave your parents and go far from home to earn.
No money means; Stress, Anxiety, Depression
Every day, every minute, you need money. From doing minor treatment to making others happy.
So, money may not buy happiness directly, but you can solve 99% of problems.
Don’t say money is not important, as it can’t solve 1% problems.
You might have read spiritual quotes, and society also teaches the same, that money is not everything and can’t make you happy. Depending on the life experience, it may be true.
Even Elon Musk said the same thing on social media. It proves that even the richest people in the world are not fully happy and satisfied.
Yes, money can’t fix the remaining 1% issues. Let me say what?
You can’t turn someone alive with money. Money can’t buy an additional year.
You may not get true love with money. The hurt heart can’t be healed with it.
You may buy books, but not wisdom. You may buy a building, but not a family.
However,
That is a deep thing and final expectations.
And another interesting thing is that everyone faces that 1% issue. Poor, Rich, Middle class, all.
Now think deeply, if you have money, you will only have 1% problems, which are universal to all, but if you don’t have it, you are the owner of the other 99%
If you can’t buy true love, at least you can impress someone to talk with you. Although life is short, you can experience things.
A person with financial security suffers less than those with no consistent income.
Money can solve these 99% problems:
Good food, timely treatment, and a decorated shelter. These things make you secure. A better lifestyle enhances worth and self-esteem. You don’t have to beg for help during emergencies.
Although you are not interested in gaining an education, you can explore the world’s top universities. Most people don’t get a primary education.
If you have sufficient money, you can live wherever you want. If you feel lost, you can book travel according to your choice for refreshment. You can engage in recreational activities to gain new energy.
Think for a while, if you have a family issue, in most cases, the root cause is a lack of money. Too many expectations and desires, but scarce resources.
The sad truth is that today’s society is competing with itself. People are living to show happiness rather than just being happy. Look, we have this, we are happy.
So, if you have money, you can support your family and earn respect, love, and appreciation. Otherwise, nobody will hate you. It means you can buy love and respect using money.
Do you know what gives you the most satisfaction?
Helping others! Yes, helping others makes you happy. Most people suffer from depression due to financial problems, and if you are the one who can help them, then you feel happy.
Apart from that, having a full bank balance gives you such confidence that you can roam freely in society, give advice to others, and they will listen to you. You will never become a victim of judgment.
Money gives you options. And options reduce helplessness.
If someone says money can’t buy happiness, then there may be three reasons;
- Either he doesn’t have money.
- He may not have understood the power of money.
- Or, he doesn’t know how to use money to get happiness.
Don’t underestimate the power of money.
Poor financial habits can destroy your life.
Ask anyone what makes you rich, and the answer will be ‘saving’.
It doesn’t matter how much you earn if your savings are zero.
You need to realise that money has power. You can do many things with it. But most of the time, we made mistakes;
Scrolling social media is one of the worst habits that may make you powerless in the future. You may not have realized the value of time. Time is money, and you are wasting time.
The world has changed, where a degree has no value. Although you have an Oxford degree without any practical skills, you are useless. Money comes from skills. The job market is paying good amounts to skilled people. Therefore, try to utilise your leisure time to gain skills and experience.
Spending hard-earned money emotionally is the worst habit. Emotional spending can be wasting money to impress others or show off. I think you should not spend emotionally even on your family members. Kids, spouse, or parents.
Feeling lazy and tired all the time and doing nothing not only destroys your health but also your future. Try to engage in physical and social activities, and live a healthy schedule to stay fit and fine.
Another thing is the dependency mindset. This comfort-seeking habit may make you penniless in the coming days. A dependent person doesn’t want to work for himself and feels lost in life when everyone has left him behind.
So, you still have enough time to realise the power of money in life; therefore, focus on earning it and solve your 99% problems. I know you don’t hate to work hard, but be consistent with what you start. Try to complete what you start; earning money takes time.
Focus on Earning, Don’t ruin your peace by Showing Off.
Focus on earning real wealth. Yes, money can fix almost all the problems, but you must have a talent to use it properly. Those are wealthy who invest in their near and dears’ happiness. And contribute to society in some portion. This kind of investment gives internal peace.
Now, what happens when you want to prove that you are rich? For example, posting on social media to show off expensive things. Revealing your lifestyle only ruins your peace.
Real wealth is self-fulfillment, not showing a fake lifestyle.
So, what do you need to do?
First, understand what money can do for you and focus on earning it.
How?
Don’t waste time impressing others; build your skills and talents to increase your worth.
Invest your time in your hobbies and goals so that one day you can make an income from them.
Instead of scrolling, make others scroll your content. Yes, if you have good speaking talent, you can do so. People are making huge amounts of money through content creation.
Money attracts money. If you earn 50K per month, invest 5% somewhere in the stock market and 10% in a fixed deposit. This is the best way to make passive income in the long run.
If you can’t earn, don’t spend. Yes, it is also a way to balance your financial condition. Spend according to your income ratio.
It is not good to take an unnecessary loan. A loan is not free; you have to pay interest on it.
Take suggestions from experienced people before making any significant investments. Doing this helps you minimise risk. Risk minimization is also a way of earning.
Anyway, try to earn. It’s essential to retain your love, peace, and security.
In Conclusion
Whatever society, spirituality, or rich people say, money is important because it can surely solve 99% of the problems in your life.
Go to the market, observe people, and think for a while about why they are roaming. They are roaming to find peace. They are disturbed because they are struggling from an issue that can be fixed with money.
Go to the hospital, and you will find a high amount of money is being demanded to save a life. Do charity and see how you will be appreciated by society.
Don’t make the mistake of underestimating money, as it can’t solve 1%. That 1% is a universal truth, whether you are a king or a citizen. Be afraid of those 99%, which may hit you day and night and cause you anxiety, stress, and depression.
Your children, spouse, parents, friends, and society will be happy for you if you can fulfill their expectations.
Try to understand its value and earn it.
So in your 20s and 30s, your goal must be earning money.
There is a system for this:
First, learn talent, skill, and experience. Try to be the best in this phase.
Then sell or utilize what you learned.
Saving is necessary to fix future uncertainties. No savings means bankruptcy.
Then invest your money wisely. If you don’t know how to or where to, take advice.
Finally, spend to make others happy as it will enhance your worth.
Overall, I want to say that yes, money may not buy happiness, or it may not be everything, but it is something that makes you feel better if you have it than being broke.
Accept the bitter truth of the world and start to struggle smartly.
Thank you 🙂
